Dolcetto d'Alba DOC
The name ‘Dolcetto’ is misleading (in Italian it actually reminds of the word ‘dolce’, i.e. ‘sweet’). Dolcetto is no sweet wine, but dry and often slightly bitter.
It is the most simple and delicate among the red wines produced in the Langhe area and for this reason it is often preferred on common occasions.
It does not require any specific fining period and is ready to taste immediately. Consequently, Dolcetto is bottled relatively soon, i.e. during the spring following the grapes harvest.
