Barbera d'Alba DOC

Barbera d’Alba is the most grown vine variety in Piedmont. It is rather productive, but needs optimal vintages and careful handling of the vineyard for the bunches of grapes to correctly ripen.
Because of its rough character, Barbera is the wine traditionally drunk by our forefathers.
It can age for a few years, but its low tannic content does not make it suitable for long ageing.

- Organoleptic Profile
- Barbera is a robust wine, very rich and flavourful (flavorful) to the taste. It has a deep claret colour (color) which tends to fade away with fining. The typical style of a Barbera has a bouquet of red fruits, often cooked as in jam. On the palate it releases its strong acidity, tempered by its pronounced smoothness. It has fewer tannins, which makes it more delicate to the palate.
