Barbaresco DOCG
Barbaresco wine maintains over time all the features of the territory from which it originates.
Exclusively the best Nebbiolo grapes are harvested and brought to the cellar. Here, the natural yet extraordinary process which will result in such superb wine takes place in big French oak barrels, requiring at least 2 years ageing to complete.
The importance of Barbaresco wine derives from its capacity to improve over the years. Young Barbaresco wine is at least 3 years old, can undergo fining in the bottle and thus hone its characteristics for many years. For this reason, Barbaresco wine never loses its palatability, to the point that it can be enjoyed indeterminately over the years.
Our vineyards are located in three subareas in Neive. The core, surrounding the farmstead, belongs to the geographic indication “Gaia-Principe”, while the other vineyards belong to the subareas named “Currà” and “Cottà”.
